"The garment of childhood is interwoven with its memory."
On May 9, 2025, the Kids Fair Collection N.G.O. organized a Photography Exhibition titled "The Garment of Childhood Memory."
The Exhibition aimed to convey a series of valuable personal stories. On the day of the event, a collective presentation of all the photographs took place, coordinated by a team of specially invited experts who helped highlight the emotions and stories behind each image. Additionally, BBC war correspondent Konstantinos Saros shared his own experience regarding children's clothing in war zones. In this way, we sought to honor each participant equally and to give the space and significance that every personal narrative deserves.
Psychologist Lambros Kerentzis, who moderated the discussion, stated: “The garment of our childhood is a gift. It embodies the tangible reality of the care we first experienced as children within the family, and it forms the essential foundation of all our future interpersonal relationships. It brings forth from the past the image of the self and expresses respect, appreciation, and—above all—care from others, giving us the opportunity to feel how important and irreplaceable we are.
Kids Fair Collection is grounded in this very concept of care. The care of children who, for various reasons, have been deprived of the presence of a family, as well as of children whose families are unable to provide the care they truly deserve.”
It was an evening filled with light and emotion.
The Kids Fair Collection N.G.O. event concluded with remarkable participation and an overwhelmingly positive response.
