The NGO Kids Fair Collection is implementing this project, dedicated to the 60 children of the “Lampsi” Association in Thessaloniki.
The initiative begins with an online meeting between the psychosocial team of the Parents’ Association of Children with Neoplastic Diseases of Northern Greece “Lampsi” and the students of the 2nd Model Junior High School of Volos.
The discussion, entitled “A typical day in the life of a young patient in the paediatric oncology ward,” aims to familiarise students with the living and hospital environment of children undergoing treatment.
Following this, students from the school’s Art Club devote six hours of creative work to producing drawings that convey messages of friendship and connection to the children of “Lampsi”.
Each design is then printed on an organic cotton T-shirt, signed by its young creator and carrying the hashtag #prosexe_min_leroseis_tin_blouza_mou — a simple, childlike yet deeply meaningful message, that reminds us all to “Mind my top!”
